Descending to Porto Moniz, a UNESCO World Heritage site, we are enveloped by the endemic forest of the Laurissilva Natural Park in an exciting off-road journey. At the Redondo viewpoint in Santa, we enjoy panoramic views of Porto Moniz, famous for its natural lava pools, where we can opt for lunch and a refreshing swim. On the return to Funchal, we stop in Seixal to appreciate its stunning views of the mountains and the ocean, with a dark sand beach and more natural lava pools.
